The request for this Firedog Saloon logo was a little out of the ordinary. The saloon had been destroys in Hurricane Katrina and sat empty for many years. The owners were finally going to refurbish it, but with a different approach. The restaurant is close to the shoreline in Mississippi, and the area was very "beachy". So, the ask was to incorporate "& Tiki Bar" into the name and design for the logo. They wanted to retain some of the look of the old saloon's logo. I provided them with 3 design options. They ultimately took all 3 options to explore what would work best for them. The reopening of the restaurant is still pending.
